We just added three new features which many of our users have been requesting for quite some time. Here's some information on the latest update:
Instead of just adding individuals as contacts, we now have the ability to add companies as well. You can create companies both from the quick intake form and when adding a new contact.
Each company requires at least one contact person associated with it, but you can also add many employees to each company, each with their own title. When sending forms, documents, and other emails, you will choose from one of these employees that belong to the company.
We now have the ability to tag your contacts to help you group them into lists. You can create unlimited tags, which can all be managed from your contact settings. Each tag has a name, and they are color coded for easy visual recognition.
Contact tags give you even greater flexibility than our existing contact statuses. You can use tags to be more specific when grouping your contacts. For example, you may have many contacts with the status of "lead" but you may want to further classify them depending on their warmth. You can now create tags such as "cold," "warm," and "hot" in order to further classify your leads based on how likely they are to hire.
We now allow you to attach files to your email templates. You can attach any common file types, such as Word Docs, PDFs, or JPEGs to any email template. When you send that particular email from Lexicata, the associated file will automatically be attached.
This makes it incredibly easy to send out information to your clients. You can set up an email template, upload an attachment, and then send the email out to each client with just a few clicks from the person's contact or matter page.
