We now allow you to create custom intake checklists for your matters!
This gives our checklist feature a whole lot more power and flexibility, enabling you to develop repeatable workflows and automate many of the administrative processes involved with sending out documents, forms, and emails.
You can build a custom checklist for a single matter, or you can also set up checklist templates in your settings which are re-usable on any matter and can be further customized for a particular matter without altering the template.
You can add 5 types of items to checklists:
Each item has its own settings to configure. You can pre-schedule due dates and reminders for tasks, as well as automatically schedule your emails to go out at a specific length of time after the checklist is added to a matter.
You can even add multiple checklists to a single matter in case you want to set up a different checklist for each step in the "funnel" from initial contact, to pre-consultation, to intake, to post resolution of the matter, etc.
We're so excited about this feature, and we think it will become the backbone of the Lexicata user experience and really help you develop good, repeatable processes for all your attorneys and staff to follow.
