Syncing your Email Address with Lexicata
Syncing your email account with Lexicata provides a number of benefits. First, it enables you to send emails from Lexicata but through your normal email server (i.e. they will be sent from your email address and will show up in your Sent folder in Gmail, Outlook, etc.). Secondly, your email correspondence with each contact will automatically be pulled in and stored in the contact's page, making it easy to keep track of all your communications.
To sync your email address:
- Go to Settings > Emails
- Click the button that says "Sync Email"
- Sign in to your email account using your normal email credentials
- You will be redirected back to Lexicata and your email should now be synced
NOTE: Email correspondence will only be pulled in from the date that the contact was added to Lexicata and on; previous emails before that date will not be synced
